Please read thoroughly our Terms of Business, which apply to you when you book entertainment from Smiles Entertainment.
1. When acting as an Entertainment Agency, Smiles Entertainment acts as a negotiator only. Smiles Entertainment cannot accept responsibility for non-fulfillment or breach of agreement by the entertainer, but every reasonable step will be taken too assure customer satisfaction. Wherever possible in such cases, and under certain circumstances Smiles Entertainment will replace the Entertainer with one of similar price and quality.
2. When acting as an Entertainment Agency, Smiles Entertainment charges a fee equivalent to an agreed percentage of booking fee receivable by the Entertainer.
3. In some cases we may require a deposit to book entertainment. Deposits are non-refundable, except when a booking is cancelled by Smiles Entertainment in which case all deposits will be repaid in full. Smiles Entertainment reserves the right to deduct commission from deposits received.
4. The balance on any booking is normally due 10 working days before the event takes place unless otherwise agreed by Smiles Entertainment.
5. Any booking negotiated through Smiles Entertainment shall be subject to these Terms of Business unless otherwise agreed by all parties concerned.
6. The hirer is to provide a suitable performing area. Unless otherwise agreed the hirer must provide an electrical supply meeting, or exceeding British Standards where electrical equipment is to be used as part of a performance. Where the Entertainer is expected to wear stage clothing the hirer must provide adequate dressing room facilities, toilets are unacceptable.
7. The hirer agrees not to approach the Entertainer directly to engage for further bookings, but that all future bookings are made through Smiles Entertainment.
